I didn't realize I could write poetry..until I actually did it!

Hi Vivek,
you are after constructive criticism and that is extactly what you will get. Good poetry is always elusive, It usually hones in on a specific aspect and then generalises. You use good imagery but it fails to captivate. The gravity and depth of the topic is barely conveyed and you have the rhythm all wrong! But then again like all other art forms, poetry too is subjective...your machi and other friends thought it was top stuff or maybe they were just being loyal friends ^_<. Anyhow, it was a pretty good debut, eventhough you still have a long way to go before you call call yourself a poet.
Like to see you wring my neck now...Fortunetly for me, you don't know who I am or where I am from.
